[NOTICE] 2024 Year Make-up Courses for ‘Human Rights and Gender Equity Courses’

Make-up Courses; 2024  Human Rights and Gender Equity Courses (hereafter ‘HRGE’ Course)」 for summer semester


KU has provided Human Rights and Gender Equity Courses (hereafter ‘HRGE’ Course)to all members of KU since 2017, and mandated the completion of the HRGE course as a graduation requirement.
All undergraduate students should take the HRGE course once a year (*‘a year’ means ‘an academic year’ here), and in total four times while attending the school to meet their graduation requirements.

KU Center for Human Rights and Gender Equity plans to provide make-up courses for undergraduate students who have not completed the courses 2021 Year, 2022 Year, 2023 Year, so please carefully read the following notice and be sure to complete the requirements.
We will no longer provide additional education, so please take this opportunity to complete it during the date.


 
1. Duration
Course period: [Korean/English/Chinese] From 03 July, 2024(Wednesday) 10 am to  16 July, 2024(Tuesday) 23:59  
※ Please be sure to take this opportunity to complete it during the date.

2. Subjects of the make-up courses

Undergraduate students who entered KU after 2017 or transfer students whose student ID starts with the number up to 2017 who have not completed the HRGE courses between 2021 year and 2023 year. (Excluding 2024 YEAR) 
※ Graduation Requirement: Completion of the HRGE course for four times while attending the school ; once each per grade (an academic year)

 
3. How to take the courses
- Should take All make-up courses seen on Blackborad
※ All students are automatically registered to their missed courses on the blackboard except for the 2024 HRGE course.

- Blackboard Login → Click 'Course' → Start training by selecting the language (Korean, English, Chinese) from the left menu in the course
※ These make-up courses are for the courses between 2021 and 2022, so 2023 HRGE course must be completed separately in order to graduate. Students who did not took 2024 HRGE course should enroll on the course at ‘Blackboard - Institution Page(안내페이지)’ by themselves.
※ Consult the relevant notice on ‘KUPID – Notices’ to get detailed information about how to enroll on and complete the 2024 HRGE course.
※ Duration of 2024 HRGE course : Until February 10, 2025 (Tue) 23:59

 
4. Contents
1) Courses provided (Completion of each course would make up for 1 previously missed course)

※ Courses are provided in Korean, English and Chinese).
※ Students are automatically registered to their missed courses.
 
2) How to complete the course : Watch all the video clips uploaded on the blackboard; [2024 여름_미이수자 인권과 성평등 교육], and then pass the quiz. (Should get higher than 70 points out of 100).
※ All steps must be completed.
※ Do not skip or fast-forward videos.
※ Your video viewing record is tracked, so you will not be able to complete the course if all videos are not watched 100%.
※ Additional training is automatically assigned to the division, so make sure to complete the automatic registered division training.
(Ex. If assigned to class 01, class 03, it must be completed for both class 01, class 03 to be recognized as two training sessions.)



5. Cautions
- Please visit ‘KU portal website(KUPID)> 수업(Course) > 교육이수현황조회 (education completion status check)’ at the first of August, 2024 to confirm your course completion. (only available in Korean website page)
- Regarding all other requirements for graduation other than HRGE, please consult your department office.
  We can only answer questions regarding HRGE Courses(Education schedule, Class, Error, etc.)
- For further inquiries concerning HRGE courses, please contact;
